ITBP SCHOOLS BEING RUN AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force is deployed in the remote hilly areas of the state, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim and Arunachal. Most of the deployment areas of the force are remote and isolated, lacking in basic amenities and government facilities. ITBP officers and personnel are required to reside within or near the campus or ITBP battalion due to operational and other factors. Hence to meet the need of education and schooling of children or Indo Tibetan Border Police Force personnel, the organization runs primary/middle level schools in various Indo Tibetan Border Police Force battalions. Presently 23 such schools are being run in various Indo Tibetan Border Police Force battalions. In addition, 13 Kendriya Vidyalayas are also located in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force Complex.
